12 years ago, my 3 year old daughter asked to start dance lessons and so we called Munn Academy asking if they had any trial sessions. Being a dance novice we had no idea what to expect, but It was the best phone call we've made as she has become part of the most amazing dance family we could have hoped for her.

The dance shows, workshops and bootcamps are always fun and our daughter has grown in confidence with their support and guidance, but their approach to lockdown really typified what Munn stands for with weekly family bootcamps and quiz nights keeping the dancers and their families in contact and laughing during such a tough period.

She is now a senior member of the competition team and has made so many memories from workshops with West end stars and choreographers, festival wins and dancing (and winning!) in UK finals in Manchester & Blackpool. The only trouble is fitting everything I want to say into one short paragraph as Munn Academy is no ordinary dance school and a big reason my daughter is not just the dancer, but the person she has become today.

My daughter has been attending Munn Academy since 2019, starting at around 3 years old. She has thrived under their tutelage, not only with her dance skills but all round.

As part of their 'dance family', she has developed confidence, communication skills both with her peers and elders, understanding of her physical and mental well-being, empathy, and leadership skills.

She has made amazing friendships, both in her peer group and with other ages. Munn Academy has afforded her some amazing opportunities that we never dreamed of; dancing at competitions, winning national awards, and performing in a national tour of a West End musical.

We can't imagine going anywhere else, and we love being part of the Munn Academy family!

We've been part of Munn Academy of Dance for 7 years now and it's been an incredible journey for both my daughters.

They absolutely adore attending the various dance classes offered throughout the week. The teachers are not only brilliant but also incredibly supportive, helping the girls build confidence and stay motivated.

They've formed wonderful friendships and always have a great time. Miss Lesley and Miss India go above and beyond, providing the dancers with fantastic opportunities like competitions, shows, and exams. It's been a joy watching my daughters thrive in such a positive and nurturing environment.

My daughters have been students at Munn Academy of Dance for about 10 years. It's been a wonderful place for them to grow and learn in a friendly environment.

The shows, festivals and dance exams have provided them with life skills, new experiences and has helped them both to make new friends and build confidence.

Lesley and India are both professional and committed in ensuring the dancers stay focused and can be the best that they can.
